OUR STORY

ICFC starts its new project in 2003 integrating the former Avidesa ice cream factory founded in 1964. ICFC holds the Spanish Health Mark nº1. Over the last few years, numerous customers from the five continents have trusted in our range of products.

1964

Luis Suñer founded the first ice cream factory in Spain.

1970

Avidesa launched the first ice cream with wafer and launched the multipack concept to reach all Spanish homes.

1980

Avidesa pioneered in Spain, in 1980, in the collecting of renown brands licenses.

1990

A decade of mergers and acquisitions in the ice cream sector. In 1992, AVIDESA became part of Miko. And in 1995, Miko joined Nestlé’s ice cream business.

2003

The Company Ice Cream Factory bought the former Avidesa factory. A history of tradition and adjustment.

2005

Export activity begins, mainly to England, Portugal, France and Italy.

2008

Our Gelato Cremoso brand launches in Spain and Portugal, with an attractive range of products for consumption at home and Out of Home.

2010

ICFC explores new continents overseas to reach more households around the world.

2012

Alliances with the market leaders in milk, fruit and nougat.

2014

We manufacture more than 6 million ice creams every day, to become Spain's number one producer.

2016

ICFC adds the market's most attractive Midi Cone range to its product range. Unique, 60 ml size.

2018

In 2018 ICFC acquires a second production site in Italy to specialize in 100% dairy free ice creams made from coconut and oat milk.

2020

In 2020 ICFC starts exporting to USA, reaching our ice creams more homes in the world
